Day 1: Chokramudi Trekking

Start your day with an interesting Chokramudi trekking trip across a variety of scenery that change all the time. The walk begins at either Old Munnar or Lockhart Gap, depending on what is easiest and most interesting for the guest. Walk around harsh volcanic rock faces, thick shola forests, open meadows, and beautiful tea plantations while taking in the views from all over the trail. The descent follows the same trail because the route does not allow for a loop return. This gives you amazing views of tea farms, forests, and distant rice fields from above. If the weather is good, you might see the rare Nilgiri Tahr, as well as certain birds and plants that only live in this area. After the trek, a vehicle will be waiting at the end of the trek to transfer their guest to their respective hotel or to other places in Munnar in the evening.
